Seriously, when you have the restaurant responding to reviews, there must be some care and dedication towards its customers. Friendly service and might I say even better food. They have a variety of options on their menu and even have vegetarian substitutes. Authentic tasting food, fresh ingredients, and very reasonably priced. Give this place a shot, support local businesses!
The food is amazing, I can tell they put their soul in it. I did, however, only try tacos de Asada and tortada de Asada so anything else on the menu I’m unsure of. I do wish they had a public restroom but other than that the service is great and so is the food.
This is the best Mexican restaurant in Rogers Park! The pastor tacos, chicarron tacos, and pork stew were all incredible. The chicharron tacos, in particular, were extremely delicous.
Got some tacos de pastor & asada, and torta de asada. Everything was delicious, and I loved the fried cheese on the torta. Salsa verde was super fresh. Agua de tamarindo was just right. The people running it are friendly too 🙂
